Ranbir Kapoor takes the ‘E’ route to quit smoking

Looks like Ranbir Kapoor is dead serious about kicking the butt. Last night, SpotboyE caught him taking another step in this direction.
Around 9 pm, we spotted the actor leaving his home and decided to follow him. A short drive later, he stopped below Naval Apartments (Bandra) where one of his friends stays.
For some reason, Ranbir didn’t go up to meet his pal and decided to wait it out below the building. Within a few minutes, the friend came down and handed over a packet to Kapoor Jr.
Curious, we kept our eyes wide open and saw the Tamasha actor trying out an electronic hookah pen. Ranbir checked out the instrument and took four-five puffs from it before getting into his car -- with the e-hookah, of course -- and speeding away.

Ranbir has been struggling to quit smoking for a few years now. While speaking to the media in 2012, he had said, “I have quit smoking. I took a bet with my mother that if Barfi! became a hit, I would quit. I play football and because of smoking, my stamina has gone down. My friends tell me that smoking also lowers your mojo.”
However, a year later, the actor’s relationship with cigarettes was stronger than ever. “I guess I am a weak character. I don't have the willpower but one day I will. I keep saying next birthday next birthday... soon I will be 40-45 and doctor will say, ab toh chhodna hi padega,” he had told a section of the media in 2013.
